South African War Weekend
Enjoy a historic weekend which includes a talk by renowned author Charles Leach as he gives a
South African version of the Bushveldt Carbineers in the Zoutspansberg (May 1901 - April 1902).
This year the theme for discussion is
“THE LEGEND OF BREAKER MORANT IS DEAD AND BURIED”
to be delivered by SA war author, Charles Leach.

06:30 – 10:00 – Breakfast in the armoury restaurant
10:00 – 15:00 – Free tours of the Paul Kruger Country House Museum (every two hours). Guests can also view the vast memorabilia on display throughout the lodge.
15:15 – 17:00 - A South African war talk (including a question and answer session). This year the theme for discussion is “The Legend of Breaker Morant is dead and buried” to be delivered by SA war author, Charles Leach.
